Canada’s infrastructure gaps are particularly acute in Canada’s Northern and Aboriginal communities.
New solutions are needed to integrate public and private sector resources and ideas, and strengthen Aboriginal participation in economic development.
The recent joint roundtable of The Conference Board of Canada and The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships included over 30 experts from the public and private sectors, including Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal, to discuss how new approaches to procurement and financing could help close these gaps.
