• New solutions are needed to integrate public and private sector resources and ideas, and strengthen Aboriginal participation in economic development.

• The recent joint roundtable of The Conference Board of Canada and The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships included over 30 experts from the public and private sectors, including Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal, to discuss how new approaches to procurement and financing could help close these gaps.
